The Oratect^TM Oral Fluids Drug Screen Test is a one-step chromatographic immunoassay device for the qualitative detection of  and their metabolites in saliva. Illegal drug consumption contributes to many accidents, injuries and medical conditions. Screening individuals for drugs is an important method in identifying those who may cause harm to themselves and to others.

Oratect^TM was developed to identify the individuals, who are consuming drugs. In addition, Oratect^TM , contrary to current popular drug tests that require the individual to donate urine, is an oral fluids drug test. Oral fluids drug testing detects active drugs present in the saliva. Pharmacokinetics of cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, phencyclidine and cannabioniods can all be detected in saliva.

Based on immunoassay principles, Oratect^TM is an easy-to-use accurate test that requires the donor to place Oratect^TM into the mouth and the administrator to read the test. The design permits convenient collection, a lateral flow immunoassay screening and an option for confirmation testing at a laboratory.
