TEXAS PROBATION ASSOCIATION The Correctional Management Institute of Texas serves as the secretariat for the Texas Probation Association (TPA), a relationship that has existed since 1994.  Organized in 1974, the Texas Probation Association is the only professional organization in Texas that solely serves the interests of probation and community corrections practitioners. FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) was established as a separate administration within the U.S. Department of Transportation on January 1, 2000, pursuant to the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act of 1999. Our primary mission is to reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving large trucks and buses . FMCSA is headquartered in Washington, DC. We employ more than 1,000 individuals, in all 50 States and the District of Columbia, dedicated to improving bus and truck safety and saving lives. TEXAS ASSOCIATION FOR PUPIL TRANSPORATION The TAPT promotes safe and efficient pupil transportation for Texas public school districts. The organization encourages exchange of ideas and cooperation between transportation departments across the Lone Star State.
